Askews Leaving Party

Below are a few photo's from the Askew family's leaving party we had a few weeks back.
Sad times.
But they're on to do some amazing things in Harrogate.
Big love for them.

The Sparkes

Not long now until my "Family Portraiture" special offer runs out! (29th June)
The Sparkes' are the most recent family that have taken advantage of this package.
They were a great bunch to work with: really fun, relaxed and they knew exactly which photographs they wanted after the shoot!
The beauty of any of my packages is that YOU (the client) get to choose which photo's you have in high res! By this I mean that I send you unedited low resolution proofs of the entire shoot to pick your finals.
How convenient is that?
Hope you like the photographs anyway.

Self Portrait

Thought it was about time I took a self portrait!
So here it is.
Was a bit spur of the moment/experimental, but there you go.

Emerge Camp

Last weekend was pretty insane - Youth Camp, Worship Leading, and then a big interview in London.
But I managed to get a few shots of the kids at the youth camp :)
So here they are!

Jeremiah

Recently I had some homework to do for my St George's Church Internship (coming to an end pretty soon! How sad!). I had to have a creative response to a particular book in the Old Testament of the Bible.
So I went for one of the hardest ones - Jeremiah.
I set it up into four different sections:

RELIEF - 31:9 - "Tears of joy will stream down their faces and I will lead them home with great care."

DISCIPLINE - 31:20 - "Is not Israel my son? I often have to punish him but I still love him. That's why I long for him and surely will have mercy on him."

HOLY SPIRIT - 31:33 - "I will put my instructions deep within them and I will write them on their hearts. I will be their God and they will be my people."

WORSHIP - 32:38 - "They will be my people and I will be their God. And I will give them one heart and one purpose: to worship me forever, for their own good and for the good of all their descendants."

Pretty deep.
But it looks pretty with these backgrounds I shot.
