So.
Recently I haven't been hugely inspired with photography.
And I've been wondering why.
I think it's that I've been so busy with many other things I just haven't had chance to sit down, brainstorm, and get excited about the next project. And every photographer should know that you can't possibly produce amazing artwork if you're not in the right 'place' to do so.
I've been fully engrossed in my job at St Georges Church, which I love, organising exciting things for this next year, really trying to spread the word of God and everything.
Having said that I am on the right track with my work for PT4U, and I am still loving photography, I just thought I'd explain the current situation!
So, one of the big things I organised whilst working with the St Georges was an acoustic music evening, with little insights of church - I took a few images there to record it :)
Quality is less than great. Flash was socially inappropriate while the acts were playing, so it is viscously dark!
I've also added the fliers I designed.. Hope you like them!

Sapphires Testing
Here they are :) The photographs I shot for Sapphires.
I did submit them to a number of magazines, and had a fair few replies: they liked my work, but would only accept work with a concept/about fashion, which is totally understandable.
The girls names were Donikka (who I've worked with before), Katie, Bree & Paulina.
Connections made, hopefully next time!
Hope you like these!

Busy busy BUSY!
My excuse for not blogging much recently is.. because...
I've been massively BUSY.
But there you go.
In the time that I've been away I've been:
- Shooting for Sapphires in Mayfair (sounding fancy?)
- Arranging shooting a 2012/2013 Spring Summer collection for a Fashion company (tbc)
- Working for my church and thinking big!
So yeah, I guess there you get a rough idea of what I've been up to?
The agency shoot was great experience, working with four models was a real pleasure and great fun! I'll write more about it when I've finished editing the photo's :)
If your reading this, why not take another minute of your time and have a look at my photo's on my website or give my Facebook page a like/share!
Love love,
Tom

PT4U 3rd Visit :)
HEY!
It's been a little while.
Because..
I was back down in Cardiff for PhotoTraining4U!
Good experience.
Had really good feedback about my fashion photography, really encouraging and learning from it lots!
For two days we shot the gorgeous Ryo Love - four different looks were captured for the 7 Deadly Sins series we are shooting. We've already done 'Wrath' :)
We shot onto Grey & White backgrounds to cut Ryo out in Photoshop: before when we used green screen the tone on her outfit was a bit of a pain really.
Anyway, i've attached some behind the scenes photo's and the Wrath photo I shot back in April :)
God bless.
