My little sister is a very keen dancer & a very good one too!
She also acts & sings; one of those multi-talented weird people.
Anyway, I literally booked her into my diary because of how busy I've been with different shoots, that I kept telling her "Yeah I'll do some photographs for you soon.." but weeks passed & so did the months, so I finally put a stop to the delay and booked her in my diary.

Rose Ayling-Ellis

A couple of weeks ago I shot some headshots for an actress called Rose Ayling-Ellis.
It was a fantastic shoot! She took direction really well and the camera loved her.
Personally I think these headshots are some of the best I've done - the retouching is natural but really complimentary also, and the lighting I made sure, as always, was precise & it really does pay off.
Below are the photographs she chose as finals.

Sir Roger Manwood's - 450th Anniversary & Summer Ball

For this commission I was asked to set up a pop up studio for the 450th anniversary of Sir Roger Manwood's school! It went really well - I was so subject to room for the first night that I had to make some major adjustments to my intended set: but I worked with what I had and achieved some decent photographs.

It was my honour to have been asked to do these photographs after being recommended to them by a previous client. And the particular client was there for both nights, including the summer ball.

I had more room for the second night & because me and my assistant, Pete, had gained experience from the previous night things ran much smoother than expected!

We managed to catch some natural light outside, using the sun as a backlight, which made the students look twice as stunning.

The Wards - Preview

I have been very busy.
Which is a good thing, so praise God!
I've had family portraits going on, covering prestigious events and shooting headshots for dance companies!
The timing is beautiful, as I had just finished my internship at St George's church.
If you're interested, I'll just fill you in with what's going on with me from September.
I'll still be working with my photography business, but I'll be training at the Worship Central Academy at HTB Church in London with the worship leading work I do at the church.
It's going to be a busy year. But I'm excited!

MOVING ON.

Just before I went on holiday I had a gorgeous family photo shoot with a family called the "Ward's" - they've been busy, so they've only chosen one image from the selection so far, but here it is!

DAPA Headshots & Group Photo's

Yesterday was pretty intense!
Had to work to a very strict time limit with this shoot: there were lessons/rehearsals going on before the shoot & after, so I had to be in & out at a very specific time.. it pushed me pretty hard!
Thanking God that it went so well though.

Considering the girls had under 10 minutes to get relaxed for the photography session they all did very well. I was also asked to provide the finals under 24 hours after the shoot - I also met this.
